For over 25 years Caroline worked in the horse industry teaching and training young jumpers, dressage and event horses at some of the finest facilities on the east coast. Before moving back to Vermont to open her own business in 1998, Caroline spent time managing a college equestrian barn which houses over 40 horses. She has worked as a veterinary assistant and shelter caregiver. In 2009 Caroline graduated with distinction from the Karen Pryor Academy for animal training and behavior. She is dedicated to the welfare of all animals and enjoys being part of the special bonds that develop between animals and their caregivers.
As the owner of ‘Click for Confidence’ – Caroline offers canine and equine positive reinforcement training based on the science of applied animal behavior (how animals learn). She concurrently runs Windsong Hill, Inc. a farm and farrier service with her husband Wayne. The farm serves as the training area for dog classes and evaluations.
Caroline is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and 2011 Dogs&Storks and Be a Tree presenter. A member of the Association for Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and Doggonesafe, she is a Reiki Level 1 practitioner. Caroline has studies animal communication, and has completed workshops on Investigating Animal Cruelty in Vermont. Fully insured.
